Axiot is pleased to announce that its Principal Consultant, Julian Woodward, has been accepted for full membership of The Penumbra Group.

The Penumbra Group is a group of select IBM Business Partners who pool technical resources and management skills to create an ideal IBM Software provider network, offering the competence and breadth of much larger companies at a lower cost. Currently over 20 Penumbra member companies worldwide provide a full range of IBM Lotus Software services to millions of licensed users at hundreds of Lotus customer sites, covering Lotus Notes & Domino, Lotus Quickr & QuickPlace, Sametime and WebSphere. Penumbra members' clients are located worldwide, across all industries and sectors.

With all but two of the Penumbra Group member companies residing outside the UK, this allows Axiot to work far more effectively on Lotus technology projects in an international market than was previously possible, through the network of Penumbra Group members. This membership complements the recently-announced membership of The London Developer Co-operative, which gives Axiot additional flexibility and scalability for UK-based projects.
